Great quality

Waxed our skis for the first-time last year about three times. It is easier than I thought, and it allowed me to adapt to the temperature conditions of late March skiing. One particular trip in late March presented base temps of 37 degrees F. We planned ahead and used the red wax for warmer temperatures including mid-mountain temps of about 32 degrees. It worked better than I ever imagined. While traversing to another lift at the bottom of the mountain, we noticed all of the other skiers were popping off their skis and hoofing it. We found ourselves polling across a very flat stretch of snow with little effort. We laughed at our luck and kept on skiing. The kit is compact enough to fit into my carry-on luggage.

The wax is amazing

First time using this kit (and generally speaking, newly self-sufficient at waxing skis) and already feeling it will be a good fit. Aesthetically, it's a well designed box with a handle and smooth zipper that organizes all the essential components, making it easy for transport. The iron has a long enough cord to reach from an outlet to where skis can be set up for waxing, has clear temperature markings, and heats up quickly. The arrow for selecting the temp though is a bit tough to see (it's a raised triangle in the same color as the iron and is located under the handle). The wax applies smoothly and the scraper easily removes the excess.

Sturdy metal brush to help prep/finish work. Nice, big, heavy duty scraper cleans everything off fast. Two bars of quality wax will cover you in most temperature situations, and they are some of the better wax I have worked with. These tools will work with any base wax though so you are not limited. Also included are some rubber bands, I am told they work great at holding the bindings in place on skis when waxing, so bonus for the 2-stick folk. Case is big enough that I can throw in my edge tool and I have everything I need when I am away from home!

I've never had a wax kit like THIS. In the past, I've always had a cheap, thin, flimsy plastic was scraper. The one included in this kit is very rigid and doesn't bend while scraping wax from the bottom side of your gear. Even though it is probably the least expensive component of this set, it might be my favorite aspect. Additionally, I didn't even know there were different waxes for different temperatures. It is nice that this kit includes the outside temps they are most suitable for, along with the temp the iron should be set to for best application. The packaging for each of the two wax bricks are also biodegradable! Would recommend.

I switched over to MountainFlow after using other brands my entire life. Have to say, I’m impressed and not turning back. I used the warm wax before my first xc ski of the season and it worked wonderfully. 10/10. Highly recommend.

Awesome set to maintain your skis / board! The carrying case is awesome perfectly fits everything I use to tune my skis: the iron, wax, three brushes, p-Tex, scraping tools, and edger. Also loved the plant-based wax included in the kit perfect for all conditions. Highly recommend!

After learning about some of the effects of fluoros, I wanted to find an alternative. However, as a professional athlete, I need the products I use to perform, so turned to MountainFlow. Everything you could possibly want to make your skis fast. So easy to use that my 4 year old can do it. We had an awesome time waxing his skis for the first time with this kit. He loved it!

Great kit nice and durable

I bought this kit for my 13-year-old son to use on his snowboard. The learning curve is very easy, and he enjoys being able to do a professional quality wax application. He has also waxed some of his friends' snowboards and skis. We also appreciate the eco-friendly aspect of the products.

Super nice wax kit! Way better than the dakine kit. Iron is 10/10. Don’t have enough hill time on the wax yet but the brush and scraper is great as well!

I’m a newb to waxing and I found this kit had just about everything I needed to get started at a good price point, plus it’s one less way I ruin the planet.The wax iron did the trick for me as did the brass brush. I found the videos helpful from the website. Additionally, I bought the base prep wax so I could give my skis a nice clean and conditioning session. It would be nice if a brick of that was included in the wax kits too. I’m very happy with the value and quality of this kit overall and Mountain Flow’s commitment to the environment.

The EcoFriendly wax and new iron are top of the line.

This stuff rips. Applies and performs like any other wax I've used, but it doesn't harm the Mother. The iron and scraper are on par with any others I've used.

This is my first wax iron that I bought for my first snowboard. Great kit for the price - iron works great and is easy to use. The wax it comes with is good enough, and I appreciated the storage kit it comes in. The plastic scraper in this is fine, but may be worth upgrading if you ride and wax often. Excellent value kit at this price point.

Does its job, comes in a nice case and there's super simple videos on how to properly hot wax. A good investment for sure.
